Plain Language. Real Trust.

YOUR DECISION, EXPLAINED IN THEIR LANGUAGE.

Patients don’t remember percentages — they remember whether they understood. Once the surgeon’s decision is final, RLES AI writes a plain-language summary the patient can actually read, in the language they actually speak.

WHAT THE PATIENT RECEIVES

  • Why the treatment was found suitable — the safety checks passed, described without jargon or index names
  • What the day of surgery looks like, procedure-specific (a PRK patient reads about epithelial healing; a SMILE patient about the small incision)
  • The compliance rules that prevent complications: no eye rubbing, water-contact windows, the drop schedule, the bandage lens rule
  • Risks in plain words, the follow-up calendar and the symptoms that mean "call us now" — closed by a two-signature block

THE BOUNDARIES ARE THE POINT

The document never recommends anything to the patient: it is the plain-language echo of a decision the surgeon has already made, contains no alternatives or comparisons, is reviewed and handed over by the surgeon as their own document, and does not replace informed consent. Reading level is deliberately middle-school; every unavoidable medical term is explained in parentheses.

IN THE PATIENT’S OWN LANGUAGE

The patient document’s language can differ from the report’s: a surgeon working in English can hand a Hindi-, Russian- or Arabic-speaking patient a document in their own tongue — the strongest trust-builder a clinic can print.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does the patient report give medical advice?
No. It is a plain-language summary of the surgeon’s already-final decision — no alternatives, no recommendations — reviewed and handed over by the surgeon as their own document.
Does it replace informed consent?
No. It complements the consent process; the legal consent form remains separate and unchanged.

RLES AI runs as a mobile interface on your phone — nothing to install from a store, reports in minutes. The final clinical decision always rests with the surgeon.
