THE SURGEON CHOOSES THE BEST PLAN.
RLES AI TESTS EVERY OPTION.
RLES AI® is a development and investment of MCD Technology Investments Inc. — built case by case with practising cataract and refractive surgeons, on a single conviction: the best outcome comes from AI precision serving the surgeon’s decision, never replacing it.
WHAT RLES AI IS
A clinical decision support platform for refractive laser eye surgery and cataract/RLE planning, delivered as a mobile interface on the surgeon’s phone: investigations or voice notes are uploaded there and signature-ready planning and screening reports come back in minutes. Eighteen capabilities cover the patient’s whole journey — from the first ectasia screen to the cataract surgery decades later — under one binding safety engine and one principle: the final clinical decision rests with the surgeon.
HOW IT IS BUILT
- Rule by rule, with practising surgeons: every clinical rule is taught, challenged and approved before it enters the engine
- Device truth only: nomograms and specifications come from manufacturers’ published tables and official instructions for use — never guessed
- Explainable throughout: every recommendation carries its rule, formula and literature
- Designed with the FDA’s Clinical Decision Support framework in mind; image-analysis-dependent modules are disabled in the US Edition pending regulatory submission
MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD
RLES AI's clinical rule set is developed and refined in ongoing collaboration with practising ophthalmic surgeons. Advisors contribute clinical expertise to the development and validation of the platform's rules; they do not author individual patient reports, and the final clinical decision in every case rests with the treating surgeon.
